Representative Experience

Elizabeth W. Eaton focuses her practice on Real Estate Law and Land Use and Environmental Law. She has been involved in a large number of real estate transactions, from acquisitions and sales to tax appeals and land use. Ms. Eaton was profiled in New Jersey Real Estate's 2007 "New Jersey Women in Real Estate" article, in which her many professional accomplishments were lauded.

 

Ms. Eaton held various offices of the Women's Law Center while attending Boston College Law School. She was a quarterfinalist in the Boston College Moot Court Competition and a member of the Boston College National Moot Court Team.

 

Prior to joining Connell Foley, Ms. Eaton served as Judicial Clerk for the Honorable Eugene D. Serpentelli, Assignment Judge of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Ocean County (1997-1998 court year).

Representative Experience

Involved in the development of a luxury golf course and an associated high-end townhouse complex in Jersey City;

Assisted with the successful negotiation of a $7 million settlement for a large New Jersey-based private university that was suing a developer;
Facilitated property exchanges necessary for the completion of a massive urban redevelopment project in Newark;
Worked to obtain approvals that helped a major New Jersey mall expand its footprint and develop much-needed new parking facilities.
