Conor F. Murphy joined the firm in 2007 as an associate with the Corporate Law and Transactions, Real Estate Law and Land Use, and Banking Law and Finance practice groups. His work focuses on the transactional aspects of the practice groups.

 

Mr. Murphy regularly counsels business entities and individuals in a variety of transactional matters, including entity formation, asset purchases, stock purchases, mergers, shareholder agreements, partnership agreements, contract drafting, lending transactions, commercial real estate acquisitions and sales, commercial leasing, and other transactions as well as regulatory compliance.

 

While in law school, Mr. Murphy served as a research assistant to Professor Barry Kamins and assisted in the publishing of his treatise on the Fourth Amendment and search and seizure law. Mr. Murphy distinguished himself as a Dean’s Merit Scholar. He also participated in an international study abroad program and examined international bankruptcy and civil law at the University of Bologna in Italy.

 

Prior to joining Connell Foley, Mr. Murphy was an associate at another prominent New Jersey law firm.
