John B. Murray has been involved in
the practice of law for over 40
years. During that time, he has
represented clients in all types of
corporate and commercial
transactions, including, but not
limited to, mergers and
acquisitions,
reorganizations─taxable and tax
free, creation of corporations,
partnerships, limited liability
companies, trusts and estates. Mr.
Murray has also represented clients
in commercial real estate matters,
including acquisitions and
assemblage of sites, acquisition of
title through the exercise of
eminent domain, negotiations and
preparation of leases, restrictive
covenants, easements and right of entry
agreements.
During the period from 1994 through
2001, the firm served as General
Counsel and since 2001 as Special
Counsel to the Casino Reinvestment
Development Authority ("CRDA"). Mr.
Murray was responsible for all CRDA
matters and coordinated the
assignment of legal matters to other
law firms. He worked closely with
state, county and municipal levels
of government within Atlantic County
and throughout the State of New
Jersey in connection with the review
and approval of projects and the
structure of financing for such
projects, frequently including a
public/private effort. |
