Joseph A. Villani, Jr. is an associate in the firm’s Corporate Law, Real Estate and Finance practice groups.  Mr. Villani focuses his practice on transactional matters and has represented a wide variety of clients ranging from large publicly traded companies to privately owned mid-cap businesses and start-up ventures.

 

Mr. Villani has represented clients in a number of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, asset purchases and sales, transactions including closely- held and family-owned businesses, and private offerings.  He also has significant experience drafting and negotiating shareholders agreements, operating agreements and a variety of contracts.

 

Mr. Villani also represents real estate clients in transactions involving acquisition, disposition and leasing of commercial properties and lenders and borrowers in loan transactions of varying sizes.

 

Mr. Villani joined Connell Foley in 2006 and participated in the firm’s summer associate program in 2005.  Mr. Villani distinguished himself during his law school career as a semi-finalist and top-ten brief author in the Wendell F. Grimes Moot Court Competition. He was also a member of the Boston College Law School Civil Litigation Clinic.
