PROGRAM
The Connell Foley Summer Associate Program is open to second-year law students who have demonstrated superior academic ability in both their undergraduate and law school careers. Our program aims to present Summer Associates with an accurate picture about the practice of law and the working environment of the Firm. Naturally, through our program, we hope to hire attorneys for permanent positions.
The program is designed to allow Summer Associates to sample each of our different practice areas through interesting and challenging work assignments. We supplement this practical legal experience with a variety of training seminars and workshops. Additionally, our Summer Associates are encouraged to attend court hearings and trials, depositions, client meetings and deal closings.
Every Summer Associate is assigned a partner and associate mentor who will offer support and guidance during the summer. Additionally, the Firm strives to ensure that each Summer Associate will receive meaningful feedback from our attorneys on all work assignments.
Connell Foley's compensation is competitive with the other major New Jersey law firms. The weekly salary for our Summer Associates in the class of 2012
is $2,115.
