Hudson to Receive Seton Hall Alumni Service Award

Jodi Anne Hudson, Of
Counsel at Connell Foley LLP, has been selected to
receive the Seton Hall University Alumni
Board Service Award . The
award will be presented at the
Many Are One
Gala at the Hyatt Regency, Jersey City on
May 29, 2009. Ms. Hudson was chosen for this
award because of the extraordinary contributions she
has made and for her time and talent to further the
progress of the school.
The
Many Are One Alumni Awards Gala is Seton
Hall's annual premier black tie event. Proceeds from
the event support the Alumni Association's Endowed
Scholarships for children, grandchildren, and
siblings of Seton Hall alumni who follow in their
family's footsteps by attending Seton Hall. Each
year, members of the University’s varied
constituencies are selected for special
recognition. These honorees are chosen because of
their dedication to making Seton Hall and its
communities better. The
Alumni Board Service Award is presented to a member
of the Alumni Board of Directors who has made a
demonstrable, significant impact toward helping the
Board meet its mission and goals during the year.
Ms. Hudson is a member of Connell Foley’s
Business Litigation and
Insurance Law practice groups. Since
joining the firm in 2000, she has tried more than 30
cases focusing largely on civil litigation and
insurance coverage and defense. Ms.
Hudson also serves as Director of the
Interscholastic Moot Court Board at Seton Hall
School of Law, a position she has held since 2000. The
Board is currently ranked 2nd in the
country by lawschooladvocacy.com.
Ms. Hudson served as
President of Seton Hall Law’s School’s Alumni
Council from January of 2008 to April of 2009. She
currently serves on the Executive Board as the
Immediate Past President.
Ms. Hudson served as an Assistant District Attorney
in the Bronx County District Attorney's Office from
1997 until 2000. In March 2008, she was
certified by the Supreme
Court of New Jersey as a civil trial lawyer.
