McGovern, Shalit, Humphreys Managed Acquisition of Company

Roseland, NJ, June 2, 2009 — Connell Foley’s Philip F. McGovern, Jr., Brad D. Shalit and Noel D. Humphreys, represented the buyer, a subsidiary of Fike Corporation, in its acquisition of the assets of axonX LLC, located in Sparks, Maryland. The principal assets of axonX LLC consisted of two patents and three patent applications related to technology for automated video camera fire detection. Fike Corporation has over 60 years’ experience manufacturing products ranging from bursting discs (ruptured discs) and oilfield products to explosion protection, fire suppression and fire detection and control. To learn more about the acquisition and fire detection technology please click here.
