Karen Randall Selected to Serve as New Jersey State
Chair for Council on Litigation Management
ROSELAND, N.J./June 21, 2011 ---
Connell Foley partner,
Karen P. Randall, has been selected as the New Jersey
State Chair for the Council on Litigation Management (CLM).
A nonpartisan alliance comprised of thousands of insurance
companies, corporations, corporate counsel, litigation and
risk managers, claims professionals and attorneys. The
Council on Litigation Management seeks to create a common
interest in the representation by firms of companies, and to
promote and further the highest standards of litigation
management in pursuit of client defense, through education
and collaboration. Organization membership is extended only
by invitation through nominations from CLM Fellows.
In her seat as N.J. State Chair for CLM, Randall will assist
with the growth and development of the Council, establish
and monitor local strategic affiliations, and foster
communications locally. Randall will also coordinate with
members to gather recommendations for Fellows (individuals
who participate in litigation and the management thereof),
nominations for Members (attorneys and law firms), and
associations for potential strategic affiliations.
Within New Jersey, four Chairs will work in
partnership on CLM activity in the state. During her term,
Randall will be working to grow the role of the local group
and extend greater opportunities to participate, by
collaborating with 2 Fellows and 2 Members on CLM
initiatives. Initial activity is directed at outreach within
New Jersey, to those who have
expressed interest in participating as delegates. Continuity
is assured by overlapping terms; during restructuring,
retiring State Chairs will participate within delegation
committees, to recruit new Fellows and potential members, as
well as plan organization events.
Randall, a Certified Civil Trial Attorney since 1992,

litigation, construction law and Director and Officer

Performance Committee. Randall serves on the DRI
