Marc D. Haefner has contributed a chapter on protecting
product design through trade dress to
Aspatore Books’ recently published
Common Issues in IP Law: Leading Lawyers on Resolving
Disputes, Evaluating IP Claims, and Achieving Successful
Client Outcomes. Mr. Haefner’s chapter provides
useful information on how the “look and feel” of a
particular product and its “take to market” packaging are
important intellectual property assets that can and should
be protected by manufacturers.

litigation in federal court. He has also
assisted clients with patent litigation.
