Practices for In-House Lawyers Symposium
ROSELAND, N.J./December
15, 2011 ---
Connell Foley Partners
Brendan Judge and
Christopher J. Tucci
in conjunction with HB Litigation hosted an In-House Legal
Symposium held at the Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce, on
December 8, 2011. The event was attended by lawyers seeking
qualified outside counsel to gain insight into best
practices, and the opportunities and issues in bringing in
outside legal help.
A
special, complimentary event designed for corporate in-house
attorneys, the Symposium was lead by knowledgeable
“insiders” Judge and Tucci, whose approach offered a
practical approach to many of the issues that lawyers
encounter on a daily basis.
Judge and Tucci covered topics from litigation management to
internal investigations, electronic discovery and
consideration for attorney/client privilege. Attorneys
examined considerations for national, regional and local
partners and agreements, litigation management conflicts and
resolution, and data and communications security.
Judge practices primarily commercial and banking litigation
in federal courts, arguing antitrust, intellectual property
and contract issues on behalf of various bank, construction,
manufacturing and trucking industry clients.
Tucci focuses his practice in banking law
litigation,
lender liability litigation, commercial litigation and
general counsel; he is a nationally recognized authority in
banking law and security matters, and serves as national
counsel including a Fortune 100 insurance company and
several financial institutions in banking law related areas,
information breaches, corporate investigations, risk
mitigation, and rapid response and crisis management.
“In our profession,
we are regularly engaged in work that brings us together
with others who have unique, specialized experience, to
effectively manage our cases, either as mentors and role
models or through meaningful partnerships and networks,”
stated Tucci. “I am honored to have been asked to lead this
type of platform and offer the kind of information other
attorneys need, to deliver the highest quality service to
their clients.”
