ROSELAND, New Jersey (June 6, 1995). -- The law firm of Connell Foley LLP today announced the launch of their World Wide Web Homepage. The Site is believed to be the first to be offered by a major New Jersey-based law firm.
Connell Foley LLP is widely known for its achievements in litigation and trial advocacy, intellectual property, corporate transactions, construction law, insurance and tort litigation, environmental law, banking law, real estate, bankruptcy, and other practice areas. Clients of the firm include some of the nation's largest corporations and banks as well as local firms and small businesses.
"In an effort to communicate more easily with our clients, and take a leadership role in the utilization of the Internet, we have decided to build an on-line presence for the firm", says Peter J. Pizzi, the partner in the firm who headed up the Website project. Partner Adrian M. Foley, Jr. added: "We are very excited about the initial feedback, and look forward to providing up-to-date reports on the firm's activities, as well as informing the public about various areas of the law through articles of interest and other Internet resources."
Working with Website Consultant Howard Fried, Connell Foley LLP formulated a strategy, developed the content, and implemented the plan. "The main focus was to prepare a user-friendly guide to the firm, its services and areas of expertise. Since the firm is nearly 50 years old, we wanted to emphasize the breadth and depth of experience shared by the attorneys", says Mr. Fried.
The Site presently includes several articles in such areas as banking law, international letters of credit, construction law and labor law. New material will be added to the site regularly.
