Connell Foley LLP names five new partners
Connell Foley LLP named five new partners in the firm effective January 1, 2000. Edward Delesky was counsel to the firm in 1998 and 1999, Stephen V. Falanga, Tricia B. O'Reilly, Jeffrey L. O'Hara and Anthony F. Vitiello, were previously associates in the firm.
Brief Profiles of the five new partners are:
Mr. Delesky, a member of the firm's Insurance Law practice group, represents insurers in complex insurance coverage and other commercial litigation. He is also experienced in utilizing alternative dispute resolution methods in the context of environmental and mass tort cases. Mr Delesky is a graduate of Seton Hall University School of Law.
Mr. Falanga is a member of the firm's Bankruptcy practice group. His work focuses primarily on the areas of commercial law, real estate, and creditor's rights, including the representation of banks and other secured and unsecured creditors in chapter 11, 7 and 13 bankruptcy procedures. Following his graduation form Boston College Law School, Mr. Falanga was the 1992-93 Law Clerk to the Honorable William F. Touhey of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey.
Ms. O'Reilly is a member of the firm's Business Litigation practice group. She specializes in complex litigation and land use and property right litigation. Following her graduation form St. John's University School of Law, Ms. O'Reilly was a Law Clerk to the Honorable Nicholas H. Politan of the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.
Mr. O'Hara is a member of the firm's Litigation practice group, handling general litigation cases and matters involving aviation law, petroleum marketing and franchise law, product liability, and professional malpractice. Mr. O'Hara is certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Civil Trial Attorney. After graduating from Widener University School of Law, Mr. O'Hara clerked for the Honorable Virginia Long, currently a Justice of the Supreme Court of New Jersey.
Mr. Vitiello is the Chair of the firm's Taxation and Estate Planning Group, where he specializes in tax and estate planning for individuals, as well as tax planning for businesses (and their owners and employees), nonprofit organizations, estates, and trusts. A graduate of New York University School of Law (J.D. LL.M. in Taxation), Mr. Vitiello serves as an adjunct professor at Fairleigh Dickenson University and is admitted to practice in New Jersey, New York and United States Tax Court.
