Connell Foley Partner John Lacey Selected as Treasurer of
the Federal Bar of New Jersey |
ROSELAND, NJ,
June 3, 2005 - Connell Foley partner
John P. Lacey has been
selected as Treasurer for the Federal Bar of New Jersey, a group
comprised of attorneys who devote much of their time to practicing
law before the federal courts of New Jersey. Mr. Lacey, a longtime
trustee of the association, will be sworn in at the group's annual
dinner on June 9, 2005.
Mr. Lacey has
spent most of the past twenty years involved in the litigation of
commercial and white collar criminal matters in the federal courts.
After serving as Law Clerk to The Honorable Charles L. Brieant,
United States District Judge for the Southern District of New York,
Mr. Lacey served as an Assistant United States Attorney for the
District of New Jersey. During his tenure there, Mr. Lacey worked
with Samuel Alito, who is now a Judge on the U.S. Court of Appeals
for the Third Circuit, and Michael Chertoff, the Secretary of the
U.S. Department of Homeland Security. During the last 15 years, Mr.
Lacey has concentrated his practice on the representation of
corporations and individuals involved in commercial and white collar
criminal matters in the state and federal courts.
