ROSELAND, NJ, June 3, 2005 - Connell Foley partner John P. Lacey has been selected as Treasurer for the Federal Bar of New Jersey, a group comprised of attorneys who devote much of their time to practicing law before the federal courts of New Jersey. Mr. Lacey, a longtime trustee of the association, will be sworn in at the group's annual dinner on June 9, 2005.

Mr. Lacey has spent most of the past twenty years involved in the litigation of commercial and white collar criminal matters in the federal courts. During his tenure there, Mr. Lacey worked with Samuel Alito, who is now a Judge on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, and Michael Chertoff, the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. During the last 15 years, Mr. Lacey has concentrated his practice on the representation of corporations and individuals involved in commercial and white collar criminal matters in the state and federal courts.

"John has been heavily involved with the Federal Bar of New Jersey for many years, and we are proud that he has been recognized for his excellent work," said Richard D. Catenacci. "This appointment is further validation of his dedication to the organization and his skills as a first-rate trial attorney."
