Four Connell Foley Lawyers Named to New Jersey Monthly's Top Lawyers List

ROSELAND, NJ, March 3, 2003. New Jersey Monthly's annual listing of the state's best attorneys recognized four from the firm Connell Foley LLP. Adrian M. Foley, Jr., Kevin R. Gardner, and Kenneth F. Kunzman were named in the business litigation listing. Kevin J. Coakley was included in the real estate section.

Overall, New Jersey Monthly named 335 lawyers in 24 different fields of law. To determine who should be listed, the magazine asked the publisher of the guide The Best Lawyers in America to query its honorees to discover attorneys they might recommend to a friend or family member.

Mr. Foley has many decades of legal experience, including serving as the surrogate of Essex County and is a former president of the New Jersey State Bar. He also has worked as treasurer and was the original commissioner of the New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority's Sport Complex. Mr. Foley specializes in corporate law and transactions, taxation and estates, and business litigation.

Mr. Gardner specializes in business and construction litigation, insurance product liability and tort litigation, and labor and employment law. He has served as managing editor of the Law Review at Seton Hall Law School, where he is an adjunct professor. He also is a member of the New Jersey Supreme Court Committees on Civil Practice and Fee Arbitration, District VC.

Mr. Kunzman specializes in corporate law and transactions and business litigation. He is a permanent delegate to the Third Circuit Judicial Conference and chairs the District Ethics Committee of the Superior Court of New Jersey. Mr. Kunzman is a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation.

Mr. Coakley specializes in real estate law and transactions, including land use, wetlands and Fifth Amendment litigation, and commerce clause litigation. He was a member of the board of trustees for the Blue Shield Plan of New Jersey from 1975 to 1984 and has chaired the Lawyers Advertising Committee of the New Jersey State Bar Association. Mr. Coakley is a member of the New Jersey State and American Bar Associations.
