Biography:
Mr. McBride maintains an extensive practice representing owners, developers, contractors and vendors in all aspects of the real estate development and construction business. Among his more notable projects are the large scale development of a data center, industrial tract and office developments, residential apartment and condominium projects and shopping center developments.
Mr. McBride’s construction projects include the Taj Mahal in Atlantic City, New Jersey; Gateway 3 and 4 in Newark, New Jersey; Prudential Centers 1 and 2 in Chicago, Illinois; power plants in India and China; a $250 million polypropylene plant in Linden, New Jersey; Dow Jones' headquarters in Princeton, New Jersey; and large residential projects for Toll Brothers in Jersey City, Hoboken and Brooklyn. Mr. McBride has been invited to speak at the Annual Construction Superconference on numerous occasions—in San Francisco, California in the fall 2005, in London in the spring 2006, and again in San Francisco, California in the fall 2006.
In addition, Mr. McBride successfully negotiated the merger of McBride Enterprises, Hudson Bay, a private real estate fund capitalized by Crescent Real Estate Equities (a REIT trading on the NYSE) and Penn Square Properties, Inc. into an entity called Keystone Property Trust, a REIT trading on the NYSE which was sold to Prologis in 2004.
Prior to joining Connell Foley, Mr. McBride served as Law Clerk to H.C. Meanor, United States District Judge, District of New Jersey (1978-1979). He is a Member of the Board of Directors of Covenant House New Jersey (1991-present) and a former Chairman of its Board of Directors (1991-2002). Mr. McBride also remains very involved with Georgetown University where he is serving as a Member of its Board of Regents (2004-present) and served as a Member of the Board of Directors for its College of Arts & Sciences (2001-2003). In addition, Mr. McBride is a Member of the Board of Directors of McBride Enterprises and the Frank A. McBride Company, Inc., and a Member of the Board of Trustees of the Delbarton School (2003-present).
