Biography:
Mr. Catenacci was a Member, Board of Editors and Case Editor of the Notre Dame Law Review. Thereafter, he was a judicial law clerk to Honorable Robert Shaw, United States District Judge, District of New Jersey. He also was an Assistant United States Attorney from 1966-1968.

Mr. Catenacci is the author of several articles, including Sparks Revisited, Tort and Insurance Law Journal, American Bar Association Vol. XXIII, No. 3, Spring, 1988; Hyperlexis or Hyperbole; Subdividing the Landscape of Disputes De-Fusing of the Litigation Explosion, Tex. Rev. of Lit., Vol. VIII, No. 3 (October,1989); New Jersey: A Basic Legal Guide for Foreign Business, Trade Regulation, Chapter 7, 1991. In the past, he has served as an Adjunct Professor, Uniform Commercial Code (Sales and Secured Transactions, Banking and Commercial Paper), Seton Hall Law School.

He serves as a Member, Board of Directors, Notre Dame Law Association. He has held numerous positions with bar associations of which he is a member, including Trustee of the Essex County Bar Association, 1982-1985; Trustee, Young Lawyers Section, 1973-1976, and Member, Judicial Selection Committee, of the New Jersey State Bar Association; and Vice President of the Federal Bar Association, 1988-1992. On behalf of the American Bar Association, Mr. Catenacci has served as Young Lawyers Section: District Representative, Executive Council, 1976-1977; Member, Board of Directors, Fellows Young Lawyers, 1985-present; Litigation Section, Chairman, Committee on Communications, 1980-1981; Chairman, Committee on Constitution, Resolutions, By-Laws and Blanket Authority, 1981-1985; Chairman, Task Force Excessive Litigiousness, 1986-1988; Chairman, Program Evaluation and Utilization, 1989-1991; Chairman, Resource Development, 1991-present; Board of Fellows, Litigation Section, 1985-present. He is a Fellow, American Bar Foundation, and a Master, John J. Gibbons American Inn of Court (Intellectual Property Law).

The Supreme Court of New Jersey, Board of Trial Attorney Certification, has designated Mr. Catenacci a Certified Civil Trial Attorney.
