Biography:
Ms. Edwards has extensive, sophisticated experience in obtaining financing for development of brown field sites and public projects as well as in the acquisition, development, financing, leasing and sale of commercial real estate. Her expertise lies in structuring, negotiating and documenting the borrowing of federal and state funds and the acquisition, development, financing and lease-up of mixed-use and multi-owner sites.

Her areas of concentration include the representation of borrowers in obtaining financing under the New Jersey Environmental Infrastructure Trust/Fund Loan Program which finances landfill closures, clean-up of brownfields and contaminated properties, water-quality-justified land acquisition, construction of and upgrades to storm water management systems, wastewater treatment facilities, sludge handling facilities, and drinking water projects. She also represents the issuers, underwriters and borrowers in municipal and public authority bond transactions and has extensive experience in securitized portfolio capital market financing, ground and space leasing, registration of condominiums and age-restricted retirement communities with the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs, multi-state site acquisitions and workouts of defaulted debt.

Ms. Edwards has provided legal advice to numerous private investors, owners, tenants and lenders, and public authorities including Rahway Valley Sewerage Authority, ABB, Allied Partners, Bally Gaming, Boston Properties, Cablevision, ProLogis, Hartz Mountain, Kimco, MoMA, and MONY and Tropicana.
