Banking Law and Finance Our Banking Law and Finance team is counsel to many of the nation's leading banks and insurance companies. We provide timely and cost-effective legal services to clients in connection with commercial loans, including real estate, asset-based, construction, revolving credit and term loans. Our attorneys represent clients in multiple phases of a loan transaction, including the initial closing, workout and/or restructuring of delinquent financings, foreclosure of real property and appointment of a receiver. Our firm also defends banks against lender liability claims and tort actions. The team's success is reflected not only in our leadership on banking and finance transactions, but also in the depth and breadth of our engagements. For example, we served as lead counsel for a consortium of banks in the takeover of one of the largest condominium projects on the East Coast. We also represented one of the nation's largest banks to resolve tax, environmental, bankruptcy, title, zoning, and lending issues in the restructuring of a multi-million dollar real estate transaction. Our group regularly serves as bond counsel to the New Jersey Economic Development Authority (EDA).
