In a “bet the company” case that included dueling claims of a forged lease, surprise witnesses and hotly disputed testimony, Connell Foley partner Brendan Judge established at trial that Garden Greenz has a valid lease that entitles it to remain at its 190 Newark Avenue address through at least 2031. Immediately after the close of the case on July 29th, the Hon. Jane L. Weiner granted judgment to Garden Greenz from the bench and dismissed the eviction complaint.
