Overview
Alexis Mitchell is a litigator handling a broad range of matters with a primary focus on real estate and employment law. She also volunteers with Partners for Women and Justice to provide pro bono representation to survivors of domestic violence in final restraining order hearings.
Prior to joining the firm, Alexis spent two summers working for law firms researching issues including complex health litigation, various state-specific criminal and transactional issues, and restrictive covenants and easements.
Alexis received her J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law, where she was a member of the Interscholastic Moot Court Board, treasurer of the Women’s Law Forum, a member of the SBA Diversity Committee, and active in several pro bono efforts. She was a Finalist and awarded Best Brief in the Eugene Gressman Moot Court Competition and argued before judges from the District of New Jersey and New Jersey Supreme Court.
