Overview
Erika Tang Suazo is an associate in Connell Foley’s Product Liability and Tort Law Group.
Prior to joining the firm, Erika was an associate defending a variety of clients involved in medical malpractice, construction, and general and tort liability cases. She also served as Assistant Corporation Counsel in the Administrative Law and Regulatory Litigation Division of the New York City Law Department. There she defended various client agencies by opposing petitions brought forth in Article 78 proceedings in New York State Supreme Court.
In addition, Erika worked in the Tort Division of the Manhattan Borough Unit, where she defended the City of New York and its agencies and employees from various tort liabilities and served as first and second chair in jury trials.
Erika received her J.D. in 2017 from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where she interned at the Appeals Field Clinic and was a staff editor for the Cardozo Public Law, Policy, and Ethics Journal. She received her B.A. in Behavioral Neuroscience from Connecticut College in 2013.
