Overview
Naomi Jawahar is an associate practicing in insurance defense, environmental, Labor Law and construction litigation, premises liability, and general negligence. Naomi also works on complex environmental and land use matters, including brownfield redevelopment and regulatory enforcement and compliance matters involving hazardous waste and site remediation. She handles all phases of state and federal commercial litigation proceedings and has experience in consumer protection cases under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FRCA) and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
After graduating law school, Naomi served as a law clerk for the Hon. Siobhan A. Teare, New Jersey Superior Court (Newark), and is a New Jersey state-certified mediator.
While in law school, Naomi served as a student assistant to the District Attorney for the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office, interned for the Bronx Defenders, Family Defense Practice, and was the Symposium Editor for the Journal of Conflict Resolution.
