Karen Painter Randall, chair of Connell Foley’s Cybersecurity and Data Privacy Group, will present on “Exercising Cybersecurity Due Diligence in Mergers and Acquisitions” at the 2017 CLM Management & Professional Liability Conference, July 26-28, 2017 in Boston, MA. Karen joins a panel of professionals who will discuss the dependence on technology, connectivity and networks during mergers and acquisition transactions, as well as assessing an acquired company’s cyber risk and acquiring company’s counsel’s due diligence list. This program will focus on the Yahoo and Verizon debacle and what attorneys handling M&A transaction need to know about cybersecurity due diligence when advising their client during a deal.
