Partner Catherine (Katie) Bryan will be joined by Kimberly Krone, Senior Attorney, KIND, to present a program titled, “An Introduction to Representing Unaccompanied Children in Immigration Matters.” The 90-minute CLE virtual seminar will begin at 12:00 PM on November 15.

This CLE course is a pro bono training session for attorneys interested in representing an unaccompanied child in their immigration matter. The program will provide an overview of New Jersey and federal law processes and procedures for representing children in the Immigration Court, Asylum Office, and state family courts. KIND staff will provide a brief primer on immigration relief, including Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS) and Asylum law, as well as tips and best practices for working with children in the legal context.
