Karen Randall Discusses Cybersecurity Regulations & Insurance

Karen Painter Randall, Chair of Connell Foley's Cybersecurity and Data Privacy Group, serves as a panelist for the New York City Bar Association program "I've Been Hacked! Do I Have Insurance?  Cybersecurity Regulations & Insurance Issues." The presentation will be held on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 and is designed to explore the regulatory environment surrounding mounting cybersecurity considerations, threats and exposures associated with a cybersecurity breach, legal implications for the victims of such breach, and coverage options available to mitigate these risks.

Karen will participate in a panel titled "Cyber Liability Coverage Considerations," which will be moderated by Ann Kramer of Reed Smith and will also include Brian Gillin, Vice President, Aon Risk Solutions; J. Andrew Moss, Reed Smith; and Jon Olefson, Senior Vice President, General Counsel, Cotiviti.

A separate panel will discuss "Cybersecurity Regulatory Environment" and will include moderator legal and insurance regulatory consultant Francine L. Semaya, and speakers Ronnie Brandes, Assistant General Counsel, Marsh & McLennan Companies; James S. Gkonos, Saul Ewing; and Eric Nordman, Director of Regulatory Services at NAIC.
