Karen Painter Randall, Chair of Connell Foley's Cybersecurity, Data Privacy and Incident Response Group, will speak on the panel, "You Got Hacked. Now What?" at the 2021 New Jersey Judiciary Cybersecurity Summit on October 29, 2021.

With cybersecurity awareness increasing across the judiciary, executive branch, and private sector, the Cybersecurity Summit provides a crucial avenue for continued education. The panel of cybersecurity insiders will share strategies and practical advice on how organizations can protect their sensitive information. Karen will address the evolving ransomware landscape and provide an in-depth analysis of the factors that should be considered when deciding whether or not to pay a ransom.

The panel will be moderated by Dr. Robert Spangler, NJSBA Asst. Executive Director, Operations and IT. Karen will be joined on the panel by fellow professionals, Sajed Naseem, NJ Judiciary CISO, Rebecca Rakoski, Esq., and Lisa Spiegel, Esq.
