Connell Foley recently represented one of the successful third-party defendants in a cutting-edge and potentially landmark case involving New Jersey’s Harassment, Intimidation & Bullying (HIB) law, known as the Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights Act. The underlying case centers on acts of bullying perpetrated against a student throughout middle school and high school, and ultimately a school district’s right to pursue third-party claims against the alleged bullies and their parents.
