Cromie Appointed to Board of Notre Dame Lawyers of NYC

Roseland, New Jersey - December 21, 2016 - John D. Cromie, chair of Connell Foley's Corporate and Business Law Group, has been approved as a new Board member of Notre Dame Lawyers of New York City ("NDL-NYC") for a two-year term.  

NDL-NYC’S mission is to promote and strengthen the professional and social bonds among lawyers in the New York Metropolitan area who are either graduates of the University of Notre Dame (“UND”), Saint Mary’s College (“SMC”) or Notre Dame Law School (“NDLS”), or NDLS students (collectively, “Notre Dame Lawyers”). Among other objectives, the NDL-NYC strives to provide placement assistance, foster mentorship, offer networking opportunities, and promote the highest standard of ethics, professionals and legal skill, while demonstrating a committment to serve disadvantaged individuals.

Mr. Cromie, who received his B.A. from UND in 1984, has over 20 years experience in the areas of corporate and business law, mergers and acquisition, real estate, and banking law. He counsels a wide variety of clients, ranging from Fortune 500 public companies to privately owned mid?cap enterprises and start-up ventures, across industries such as construction, manufacturing, specialty chemical, and medical. He has extensive experience in the area of mergers and acquisitions, as well as in the purchase, sale, leasing, and development of commercial real estate.
