Eugene J. Codey to Be Honored with James J. McLaughlin Award

Hon. Eugene J. Codey will be presented with the James J. McLaughlin Award on Thursday, February 21, 2013 at the Hyatt Regency, New Brunswick.

Judge Codey joins a distinguished line of Connell Foley lawyers who have received this award which was named after James J. McLaughlin, the first recipient in 1996.  The award is given by the New Jersey State Bar Association: Civil Trial Bar Section and recognizes lawyers who possess “civility, legal competence, and professionalism in the practice of civil trial law.”  Our named partner, George W. Connell, received the award in 1997 as did another Connell Foley Member, Richard J. Badolato in 2006.

In addition to Judge Codey, former Supreme Court Justice, Hon. Virginia A. Long and Robert A. Baxter, Esq. will also receive this award.
