George Kenny, a partner in Connell Foley’s Insurance Coverage Group, recently co-authored the 2017 Edition of “New Jersey Insurance Law,” the industry standard insurance text for New Jersey lawyers. First published in 1993 by ALM Media Properties, LLC, the treatise provides comprehensive, accurate and in-depth information about insurance policies, coverage issues and insurance law in New Jersey. Mr. Kenny co-authors the text with Frank A. Lattal, a former Connell Foley partner who currently serves as Chief Claims Officer for Chubb Group of Insurance Companies.

The current edition of the book offers “a newer more logical developmental approach designed to assist the reader to more easily follow the concepts which underlie court interpretation of policy language, as well as the effect of statutory requirements which the Legislature has enacted in its active regulatory role.” The book also provides expanded information on the primary coverage topics that attorneys and insurance carriers confront regularly and that often give rise to litigation.
