Scuderi, Murphy and Villani Present Commercial Loan Seminar

ROSELAND, N.J./January 17, 2011 -- On January 13, 2011, Thomas M. Scuderi, Conor F. Murphy, and Joseph A. Villani, Jr., spoke before the Hudson-Bergen Inn of Transactional Counsel at the Offices of the Bergen County Bar Association in Hackensack, New Jersey. The topic was “Commercial Loans: From Commitment to Closing.”

The presentation covered the commercial loan process from start to finish from both the lender’s and borrower’s perspectives. The agenda included: the term sheet/commitment, due diligence items, necessary searches, preparation of a closing checklist, documenting the loan, negotiation of the loan documents, opinion letters, the closing process, post closing issues, and resolution of closing problems.

The Hudson-Bergen Inn of Transactional Counsel is comprised of a group of attorneys of varying skill levels who focus on transactional related law. The mission of the Inn is to teach, learn, improve practice skills, share experiences with other members of the Bar, foster collegiality, and promote excellence in the practice of law, as related to transactional matters.
