Leo J. Hurley, Jr., a firm partner in the White Collar Criminal and Commercial Litigation groups, argued before the New Jersey Supreme Court in the matter of State v. Jason O’Donnell on Monday. Leo was quoted in a @Law360 article, “Bribery Statutes Doesn’t Cover Candidates, NJ High Court Told,” arguing that anti-bribery law used to charge O’Donnell only refers to individuals who are currently in office, and not private citizens.
