Overview
Daniel Kang advises Korean-owned enterprises, government-affiliated entities, large and mid-sized companies, and privately held businesses on corporate governance and compliance, commercial agreements, disputes, litigation, and labor and employment, with a focus on Korea–U.S. cross-border transactions.
He also advises companies and individuals on executive and employee transfers, long-term assignment planning, and investment-based immigration, including E-2 investor visas.
Before entering private practice, Daniel spent approximately twelve years with a KEPCO Group company, one of Korea’s largest government-owned enterprise, handling domestic and international matters involving labor and employment, regulatory compliance, litigation, and corporate counseling. He also served in the United States as Legal Executive Manager for a major power generation company, overseeing significant matters and working with outside counsel on strategy, risk management, and dispute resolution.
A merit-based scholarship recipient at Seoul National University School of Law, Daniel completed his legal education in Korea and pursued advanced graduate study in labor and employment law. He is also a graduate of the University of Connecticut School of Law and is licensed to practice in the United States, giving him a strong command of both Korean and U.S. legal systems.
