Randall Serves on the Cybersecurity Panel for HIMSS Spring Event “Leveraging Technology for Transitions of Care”

Karen Painter Randall, chair of Connell Foley’s Cyber Security & Data Privacy Group and co-chair of the firm’s Professional Liability Group, is a panelist at the HIMISS New Jersey Chapter’s Spring Event entitled “Leveraging Technology for Transitions of Care” on June 8 at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ. 

Ms. Randall’s will be speaking on the Cybersecurity Panel Session along with Maria Suarez of Hackensack UMC, David Weinstein of New Jersey Office of Homeland Security and Preparedness, and Gerry Blass of ComplyAssistant, who will serve as the moderator.

The event will feature an introduction from Bonnie Geissler, Chapter President of HIMSS, as well as keynote addresses from Indu Lew and Robert Adamson of PharmD, Barnabas Health on “Medication Management Across the Continuum of Care,” Elaine Remmlinger from Kurt Salmon on “Emerging Technologies That Support Transitions of Care,” and Steve Landers, MD, MPH from VNA of Central Jersey on the “Role of Technology in Improving Home Health and Care Transitions.”

A second panel on Health Data Analytics will wrap up the event.
