Randall Presents to Group of Attorneys on Risk Management

ROSELAND, N.J./March 30, 2009 -- Karen Painter Randall, Connell Foley partner, spoke at a Risk Management Seminar designed for attorneys on March 26, 2009 at the Baltusrol Golf Club in Springfield, NJ. The seminar, “Minimizing Legal Malpractice Claims,” was hosted by Couch Braunsdorf and OneBeacon Insurance Company. Among the particular topics discussed by Ms. Randall were coverage issues, current claim trends, and defense counsel perspectives on minimizing legal malpractice claims for law firms of all sizes.

Karen Painter Randall has over 20 years of experience litigating professional liability, insurance, business, and directors and officers disputes in state and federal court. She has substantial experience in the evaluation and litigation of professional malpractice claims. The Supreme Court of New Jersey, Board of Trial Attorneys Certification designated Ms. Randall as a Certified Civil Trial Attorney in recognition of her established record of trial experience and other professional accomplishments She has served as a leader with the American Bar Association serving as Co-Chair of the Professional Liability, Director & Officer and Emerging Issues Subcommittees of the Insurance Coverage Litigation, Section of Litigation. Ms. Randall was appointed by the New Jersey State Bar Association to serve as Chair of the Committee on Insurance Benefits. She was also elected Chair of the USLAW Network Professional Liability Leadership Committee in 2008 and 2009. Ms. Randall has been a frequent lecturer for insurance programs on legal and other risk management issues for the past 15 years.
