Connell Foley’s Immigration and Global Mobility Practice Co-chairs Neil Dornbaum and Kathleen Peregoy, and of counsel Victoria Donoghue, will present for the New Jersey Business & Industry Association (NJBIA) Human Resource Council on April 12, 2022.

Neil, Kathleen and Victoria will discuss “Increasing the Diversity in Your Workforce,” providing an overview of the immigration regulations and policy guidance governing F-1 nonimmigrant status, in relation to employment.  As employers face a challenging recruiting environment in the aftermath of the pandemic and the “Great Resignation,” they should consider the pool of talented foreign national workers graduating from our best U.S. universities.

This virtual event will address the most common scenarios frequently encountered by companies employing F-1 students pursuant to Curricular Practical Training (CPT) and Optional Practical Training (OPT/STEM), as well as sponsoring F-1 students for H1B status.
