Associate (Insurance Coverage)

Connell Foley LLP is seeking an Associate Attorney with two (2) to six (6) years of experience to join its Insurance Coverage practice group based out of our Roseland office.

Qualified candidates should demonstrate knowledge in handling various complex coverage risks including but not limited to: liability/casualty coverage; professional, executive and financial risk coverage; environmental risk coverage; property coverage; and health care coverage.

The ideal candidate must have experience in insurance coverage and experience in litigation areas of general liability and/or commercial litigation are a plus. New Jersey and/or New York Admission required.

The ideal candidate should also have the following qualifications:

  • JD from an ABA accredited law school with excellent academic credentials;
  • Ability and desire to learn and embrace new skills and best practices as the position and substantive area evolves;
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines;
  • Ability to work well independently as well as effectively within a team;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, problem solving and oral and written communication skills (writing sample required);
  • Ability to manage confidential information and sensitive situations with tact and discretion.
