Karen Painter Randall, chair of Connell Foley’s Cybersecurity and Data Privacy Group, will present alongside Howard E. Panensky, Assistant V.P. of Ironshore Insurance Services, LLC and Jason Rebholtz, V.P. of The Crypsis Group for the webinar"Six Steps to Getting Closer to Law Firm Cybersecurity." This 30-minute webinar is hosted by New Jersey State Bar Association (NJSBA) and will take place on August 31, 2017.

Karen and her co-presenters will focus on the following basic cybersecurity hygiene steps to help reduce risk and protect against a cyber incident:

2. Manage Passwords and User Privileges

3. Use of Encryption for the Sending Sensitive Data & Storing Sensitive Files on Local Systems

5. Purchase a Standalone Cyber Liability Policy of Insurance
