Anthony Vitiello, Chair of Connell Foley's Taxation and Estate Planning Group, is presenting "Ethical Quandaries in the Estate Planning Context" at UJA-Federation of New York’s 53rd Annual Sidney Kess New York Estate, Tax & Financial Planning Conference taking place September 20-21, 2022.

This virtual, two-day conference features some of the nation’s leading experts as they discuss estate, tax, and financial planning opportunities to consider after a year that’s presented new and profound challenges to the national economy and impacted the financial circumstances of countless individuals and businesses.

Tony will discuss a multitude of ethical quandaries that estate planning practitioners may experience. This includes the challenges of representing interrelated parties, such as providing estate planning services to multiple generations of family members who may have differing interests, as well as representing clients and their businesses and family members with potentially conflicting interests in those businesses. He will also review issues that arise when clients (intentionally or not) want to “cross the line” in tax planning. Tony will explore these situations and others, and provide practical guidance in addressing these issues.

*CLE, CPE and CFP credits will be offered.
