Connell Foley LLP's Professional Liability practice group Chair Robert Ryan will deliver a presentation titled "Professional Malpractice and Risk Management for Engineers" at the American Council of Engineering Companies of New Jersey's (ACECNJ) 2025 Emerging Leaders Program on Thursday, May 15, 2025, in Mount Laurel, New Jersey.

This interactive presentation will provide engineers and their firms with the information they need to navigate the increasingly litigious field of professional practice, including the litigation and defense of claims against engineers, risk management techniques for engineers, professional liability insurance, and ethical considerations for engineers.

Bob is Chair of Connell Foley LLP’s Professional Liability practice group and Co-Chair of the firm’s Trial Practice group. Certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Civil Trial Attorney, Bob has dedicated much of his 35 years of practice to the representation of architects, engineers, attorneys, and physicians in major professional malpractice litigation, serving as lead counsel in the representation of regional, national, and international professional firms in both state and federal courts. He is available to mediate significant professional liability cases involving engineering malpractice matters.

This is Connell Foley LLP’s seventh consecutive year participating in ACECNJ's "Emerging Leaders" program. An invitation-only program for ACECNJ members, the "Emerging Leaders" program is designed to impart specific skills identified by top ACECNJ principals as being critical to engineers’ leadership success.
