This invitation-only program was developed for the mayors of the Northwest Bergen County and Pascack Valley municipalities, as well as their borough administrators, police chiefs and IT personnel.
Karen will be joined in the two-hour presentation by cybersecurity industry experts Jeremiah Dewey of Rapid7, Shiraz Saeed of Starr Insurance Companies, and Marlee Mukai of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. They will discuss the threat landscape for municipalities, including the costs and consequences of a ransomware attack, how to mount an effective defense, and incident response strategies for a ransomware attack.
