Heather Kumer, an associate in Connell Foley's Cannabis Law and Real Estate and Land Use Groups, will present with Dara Servis, Executive Director of the New Jersey Cannabis Industry Association, on "Just Say Zone! Preparing for Recreational Marijuana in New Jersey and Lessons Learned from Other States" at the 19th Annual Current Issues in Planning and Zoning Education Conference. This event, co-sponsored by the New Jersey Association of Planning and Zoning Administrators and the Rutgers University Center for Government Services, brings together municipal planning and zoning professionals from across New Jersey.

Heather's presentation will examine the current status of New Jersey legislation and how municipalities can prepare for the cannabis industry, while looking at other cities throughout the United States that have already legalized both medical and recreational marijuana to see how their zoning methods can be applied to New Jersey.
