Karen Painter Randall, Chair of Connell Foley's Cybersecurity and Data Privacy Group, is a presenter at the "Managing Cyber Security Risk in a Digital World" symposium hosted by School Pool for Excess Liability Limits Joint Insurance Fund (SPELL JIF) on July 24, 2019. Karen and her co-presenter, Special Agent Jason Paniccia with the Federal Bureau of Investigation Newark Cyber Task Force, will provide an overview of "Cyber Risk for New Jersey School Districts."

The SPELL JIF is owned and managed by four local school board insurance funds: the Atlantic & Cape May Counties Association of School Business Officials Joint Insurance Fund (ACCASBO), Burlington County Insurance Pool Joint Insurance Fund (BCIP), the Gloucester, Cumberland, Salem School Districts Joint Insurance Fund (GCSSD), and the Suburban Essex Joint Insurance Fund (SEJIF). The SPELL is designed to provide owner groups with a more cost-effective method for financing risk.
