Karen Randall Moderates Discussion on Latest Cybersecurity Trends Impacting CISSPs

Karen Painter Randall, Chair of Connell Foley's Cybersecurity and Data Privacy Group, moderates the panel discussion "Everything a CISSP Needs to Know About the Cyber Legal Landscape" for the (ISC)² Security Congress, October 28-30, 2019.

The (ISC)² Security Congress provides security leaders "the knowledge, tools and expertise they need to protect their organizations. The event offers 175+ educational and thought-leadership sessions, and fosters collaboration with other forward-thinking companies."

Karen's panel examines the most recent developments in cybersecurity and privacy legislation, litigation and regulation, including the California Consumer Protection Act and its amendments, and the New York Shield Act. They will discuss the trends that are most relevant to information systems security professionals, including: new and proposed requirements for cybersecurity programs, data breach definitions and notification, consumer privacy measures and more.
