Karen Painter Randall, Chair of Connell Foley's Cybersecurity and Data Privacy Group, is a panelist at the NetDiligence® CyberRisk Summit, which will be held in Philadelphia on June 12-14, 2019. The three-day Summit features leading experts in cybersecurity and cyber risk management participating in comprehensive panel discussions on hot topics, current issues and evolving trends in the cyber risk management industry.

Karen will lead the discussion for the 90-minute "Cyber Claims Handling Best Practices Workshop” on June 12th with panelists Karrieann Couture, CNA Insurance; Jason Rebholz, MOXFIVE; Richard Sheridan, Berkley Cyber Risk Solutions; and Jena Valdetero, Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner LLP. Karen and her co-presenters will use a Ransomware attack scenario to provide insight on: how to distinguish carriers/coverage, readiness of the claims unit that will handle a Ransomware claim, proper use of legal and forensic vendors, mitigating derivative risk to the policyholder while reducing cost for the insurer, claims adjustment and the current Ransomware threat landscape.
