Karen Painter Randall, Chair of Connell Foley's Cybersecurity and Data Privacy Group and member of the ABA Cybersecurity Legal Task Force, presents at the National Conference of Bar Presidents in connection with the American Bar Association (ABA) Midyear Meeting, which will take place January 23-28, 2019 in Las Vegas, NV. Karen joins moderator Russell S. Jones, Past President, Kansas City (MO) Metropolitan Bar Association and fellow panelist Ruth Hill Bro, Co-chair, ABA Cybersecurity Legal Task Force, on "The Power of Innovation -- The Exploding Cybersecurity Threat Affecting Lawyers and Bar Associations."

The program will inform attendees on the latest cybersecurity threats (and professional responsibilities), how to protect their association, and how to provide value to their members through education and resources to manage cyber threats. Attendees will learn what other Bar Associations are doing in this space using the NJ State Bar Association Cybersecurity Legal Task Force, which Ms. Randall chairs, as an example of a success story.
