Karen Painter Randall, Chair of Connell Foley's Cybersecurity, Data Privacy and Incident Response Group, is presenting a webinar titled "Implications of the SEC Proposed Cybersecurity Rules" for the American Bar Association (ABA) on September 21, 2022.
Co-sponsored by the ABA and Kroll Associates, Inc., the program will examine the cybersecurity proposals issued by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) earlier this year that will affect cybersecurity reporting, risk management, strategy, governance and incident disclosure by public companies. "These proposals will require firms to conduct an in-depth analysis of existing information technology programs and cybersecurity protocols, and develop enhanced policies, procedures and workflows in order to provide periodic reporting to governance committees, investors, Boards and regulators."
