Karen Painter Randall, Chair of Connell Foley's Cybersecurity Data Privacy and Incident Response Group, is serving as a Conference Co-chair and moderator of the “Ransomware Advisory Group Roundtable” at the 2022 NetDiligence® Cyber Risk Summit in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This two-day Claims and Incident Response Summit provides a faculty of more than 50 thought leaders from cyber insurance, data security technology and data breach law all coming together in cross-functional panels to discuss a broad range of cyber-related topics, with a focus on claims, coverage challenges, loss control, security technology, and emerging risks in the cyber arena.

The “Ransomware Advisory Group Roundtable,” is comprised of a group of senior managers and subject matter experts brought together by NetDiligence as the Cyber Insurance Ransomware Advisory Group to provide timely and useful ransomware information to the greater cyber community.

Joining Karen for this Roundtable are Bill Hardin, Charles River Associates; Luke Emrich, Tetra Defense; Matthew McCabe, Kivu; and Chris Salsberry, Tracepoint. Examining the evolving ransomware landscape and attack vectors/methods, Karen and her co-presenters will discuss developing attack statistics, threat actor profiles, ransom payment decision trees and strategies for 2022.
