Columbia Law School student Alondra Vazuez Lopez is the recipient of a 2024 USLAW NETWORK Foundation Law School Diversity Scholarship sponsored by Connell Foley LLP.
As a member of USLAW NETWORK's first group of Foundation Partners, Connell Foley collaborated with USLAW NETWORK to fund and establish the criteria for determining the recipient of one of 12 scholarships awarded to outstanding law school students from diverse backgrounds who demonstrate a genuine commitment to diversity and social justice in their communities.
The scholarship program was launched in 2022 as part of the USLAW NETWORK Foundation’s commitment to helping eligible law students achieve their academic and professional dreams. Each of the 12 recipients was selected – from among 170 applicants – based on academic achievements, financial need, and demonstrated commitment to issues of diversity, equity, inclusion, or social justice in their communities or within their academic career.
