Connell Foley’s Patricia Lee Secures Final Restraining Order for Domestic Violence Victim

Print PDF

Connell Foley LLP Pro Bono attorney Patricia Lee successfully obtained a Final Restraining Order (FRO) to protect a victim of domestic violence.

At the May 16th hearing before a Family Part judge in Essex County, New Jersey, Lee presented compelling evidence that met the criteria for the predicate offenses of assault, false imprisonment, criminal restraint, and terroristic threats. The hearing judge also found that the evidence established the requisite history of abuse and the necessity of a final order to ensure the victim’s future safety.

The case was referred by the firm’s pro bono partners at the Rachel Coalition (Jewish Family Service of Metrowest NJ). Please visit our websites for more information about Connell Foley’s pro bono efforts and our partnership with the Rachel Coalition.
